Hello and welcome to the White Hare website.

I am Clive Brocklehurst and I live with my wife Caroline in the village of Hartland close to the dramatic, rugged North Devon Coast and surrounded by the rolling hills and wooded valleys of the Hartland Peninsula.

I paint watercolour pictures, create works in glass and other media and have written books under the banner of White Hare

Up until Lockdown my studio was open as a gallery for eight years but is now closed to the public.

I am currently mostly painting coastal scenes and making glass items which are sold at the Hartland Quay Hotel Gallery shop during the summer season. Over the winter some originals are available on line.

I am also working to commission on illustrations for shows and magazines.
